I do have a question though. Is the first one a unique story or is it a book version of the mini-series? I was thinking about skipping that and going straight for book 2 if that's the case. |

It takes place after the (first) Cylon war but before the series and it follows Adama, Tigh and Zarek. I just hope it has a decent ending. If the others are as good as this one I'd definitely recommend them although Gaz-W wasn't impressed with Sagittarius is Bleeding. Hopefully Unity will be as good as this one. |
