What date does it start?

Last I heard I believe the show was shut down and on hold until after the strike is over. Then they will finish shooting and begin the season. According to TV.com it was scheduled to start (latest update) in April. There was also a rumor that this final season might be split into two parts - 2008 and then the second half showing in 2009. We will have to wait and see, right now all shows are pretty much up in the air.

Latest word is that season 4 is set to premier April 4th-woo hoo!

Also, Amazon.com finally has the season three DVD's up for presale. They're telling me to expect delivery on March 20th. Just in time for a marathon viewing before season 4 starts.

A tidbit from TV Guide's Matt Ausiello:
Edward James Olmos confirmed to SyFy Portal that production on the second half of Season 4 will commence at the end of March. (The first half debuts April 4.) "We will finish the story," promises Olmos, "and I think the fans will be satisfied."
